Shawn Curtis is VP of Payments, where he leads the strategy and execution of SBT’s integrated payments business. He brings a “teacher first” leadership style, shaped early on through tutoring chemistry in college, and applies it to building teams, simplifying complex problems, and delivering results for customers.
Before joining SBT, Shawn served 12 years as a U.S. Navy Submarine Warfare Officer and certified as a Nuclear Engineer through the Navy’s Nuclear Power Program. After the Navy, he built a career across a string of SaaS startups, with leadership experience spanning customer operations, enterprise sales, and partnerships, most notably six-plus years at payments start-up, Spreedly, helping companies modernize and scale their payments ecosystems.
